Any creatives can be featured. From emerging to established artists working in visual art, animation, illustration, design, craft, or any creative field. This platform welcomes artists of all backgrounds, styles, and follower counts.

How do I participate?

Send a DM to @x_mellowartz_x and I will look at your account to see if it qualifies to be interviewed and featured on the website. I will then send you questions tailored to your art medium. Further instructions will be given in the DM!

How many followers do I need to qualify?

Accepted Answer

No required number!! This platform is all about giving EVERY artist a voice; no filters, no gatekeeping. You don’t need a specific follower count to be featured. What matters most is that your Instagram profile showcases enough of your artwork and creative journey for me to understand your style, story, and personality.

How are artists selected?

I choose artists based on their unique voice, creative journey, and the way they express themselves through their work. (Plus a bit of personal bias of friends or artists I admire hehe.)

Can I edit the final diary entry?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but only upon request. Since all features are written in a diary-entry format, your final piece will closely reflect your original responses. If you'd prefer to review the draft before it’s published, just let me know, I’ll happily send it your way to make sure you’re comfortable with how your story is presented!

Is there a deadline for responses?

I usually work in small feature batches. If you're selected for an upcoming one, I'll let you know the timeframe. If I don’t hear back in time, you can still be considered for a future batch.

Can I recommend another artist?

Absolutely! I love referrals. If you know someone whose story deserves to be heard, DM me their profile and I will take a look.

Is there a cost to participate?

Accepted Answer

No. Being featured is completely free. I'm here to support artists, not charge them. Though, I'd be happy to take any voluntary donations lol.
